Abstract：
SCA-E87F is a versatile epoxy organo-reactive silane with two hydrolysable ethoxy groups suitable for use as adhesion promoters in polysulfide, urethane, epoxy and acrylic caulks sealants and adhesives, especially suitable to be used as adhesion promoter and crosslinker for waterborne adhesives and sealants.
Applications and Performance：
1. Can be used in place of 3-Glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (SCA-E87M) in many applications, It will generates ethanol upon hydrolysis [which is a volatile organic compound (VOC) but is not a hazardous air pollutant (HAP)] while SCA-E87M generates methanol upon hydrolysis which is both a VOC and a HAP.
2. SCA-E87F silane can be employed as an adhesion promoter or crosslinker. It may be suitable for use as a water stable single component crosslinker. In such applications, SCA-E87F silane should provide a means of replacing a 2 part waterborne adhesive with a single component system. The benefits of a silane crosslinked water stable single component system include reduced scrap, improved process efficiency and reduced crosslinker toxicity.
Packing：
The regular packing of this product is 25kg plastic pail, 200L steel drums and 1000L immediate bulk container.
Storage and Shelf Life：
Should be stored in dry, cool, ventilated room; keep away from water, moisture, high temperature and fire. This product has a shelf life of at least 12 months if stored in tightly closed original container at room temperature.
If this product is kept beyond the shelf life recommend on the product label, it is not necessarily unusable, but a quality control should be performed on the properties relevant to the application.
